Access architecture for florientdogbe.me: the client reaches the site over the internet, DNS resolves to the public IP of a dual-homed bastion VM. The bastion runs HAProxy in TCP layer 4 mode and relays traffic from the NAT management network (192.168.100.0/24) to the isolated bare metal network (10.0.0.0/24, Open vSwitch bridge). Traffic then reaches the OpenShift 4.20 cluster installed in IPI mode via NodePort or Route: three control plane nodes (10.0.0.11 to 10.0.0.13), two compute nodes (10.0.0.21 and 10.0.0.22), and an ingress router at 10.0.0.101. The response follows the reverse path back through the bastion. — How this site is actually served

This portfolio runs on my own OpenShift 4.20 cluster, installed in IPI mode on bare metal virtualised with KVM/libvirt. The cluster is fully isolated: it is reachable only through a dual-homed bastion VM running HAProxy in TCP (L4) mode, which relays traffic from the internet to the cluster NodePorts. No direct access from the internet to the cluster.
